Weaving in text of personal musings, the silent film piece is a contemplative reverie of my experience of being present within the landscape. Within the multi-media installation, a pair of projectors project the fleeting, moving images of the film onto sheets of kozuke washi 45gsm paper that extend out from the wall. As contemplation of the flickering images that I encounter within the darkroom, the translucence of the paper diffuses light from the projected screening- questioning the relationship of the photographic medium to its materiality.
